Mrs. Emmeline C. Libby died at Absecon, N. J., on November 26. She was a former Baltimorean and was the daughter of the late Emmeline C. and Richard C. Mason. Her burial wll take place today at Greenmount Cemetery.
NOTE: Researchers should not confuse Emmeline C. Needham (1811-1849), second wife of Richard Clark Mason (1784-1873), with her children Emeline Needham Mason (1846-1848) and Emeline C. Mason (1848-1917) who married twice: George Frederick Foye (1839-1878) and Edward Lewis Libby (1849-1885). There is also a Emeline C. Mason (1842-1895), d/o of Richard Mason and Mary Ann Westbay Craggs, who married John Henderson in 1862 and had four children. There is also an Emma (probably Emeline) Mason (1862-1872) d/o John Craggs Mason and Emeline Woodland. These are all very different woman from the same family tree.
