A.C. was the son of Eligah Freeman (1881-1972) and Laura Belle Eminiser Freeman (1883-1955)

A.C. married Virgie Celous Turnbow Freeman (1902-1986) in Sacramento CA on 9/11/1959

A.C. & Virgie never had any children together

When A.C. was born, his father named him after a friend of his who went by the initials of A.C.. He was not given an actual first and middle name at the time of this birth. When he went into the Army, he was told that he had to have an actual name, so A.C. chose the name of 'Arthur Clint' for himself.

Per the daughter of Mary Freeman Clark, "A.C. was in the Navy in WWII in the Construction Battalion (Seabees). Both he and Clarence were Seabees and served in the South Pacific, but not together".

A.C. had four brothers: Clarence "Candy" Freeman (1904-1977), Leonard Elijah Freeman (1913-1974), Charles Taylor "Taylor" Freeman (1915-1966), and Buzz Freeman (1924-1973)

A.C. also had five sisters: Otharel "Settie" Freeman Whipple (1907-1981), Mary Frances Freeman Clark (1909-2005), Kathleen Freeman Bixler Brown (1911-1994), Lillie Mae Freeman King (1917-1969) and Gladys Freeman Armstrong (1919-1985)
