In 1764 Verlinda Beall married her cousin, Thomas Beall, son of Samuel and Eleanor Brooke Beall. Her father was Josiah Beall, of John and Verlinda Beall. She was named for her grandmother Verlinda Magruder Beall and was the only grandchild mentioned in her grandmother's will. Since her grandmother's will was written on 9 January 1740 this puts Verlinda Beall's birth about 1739.
Verlinda Beall died in 1812 according to SAR application of John Alexander Hardy in 1921. The will of Lucy Beall has her sister dying before 1799. (Contribution by Susan Eskite, 14 Mar 2022).
