VERNAL--Our beloved husband, father, son, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend and mentor, Franklin Jairus Hill, returned to our Heavenly Father on Sept. 2, 1993 after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born in Ogden, Utah, a son of Rulon Don and Betty Jean White Hill. He married Gina Gilliland March 22, 1978 in Kaysville, Utah; their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple.

Frank taught high school in the Uintah Basin the past 12 years. He most recently taught at Ashley Valley High School--the staff and students are like a second family to him.

Frank is survived by his wife, Gina; five children, Brent and wife, Kendra, Josh, Legena, Christopher, and Anna Kaye; one grandchild, Laryssa Fawne; his mother, Betty Jean of Kaysville; two brothers, Rodney (wife Janice), Gregory (wife Nancy), and one sister, Holly. He was preceded in death by his father, R. Don Hill.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 4, 1993, 10 a.m., at the Maeser 3rd Ward Chapel, 2575 North 1500 West, Vernal, where friends may call on Friday evening from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery, 4 p.m. Saturday. Funeral directors, LIndquist's Kaysville Mortuary.
