Matilda was born November 20, 1922, in San Francisco, California, a daughter of the late Francisco and Annie (Borjorquez) Bazurto.
Matilda worked as a foster grandparent for more than 25 years. She was also a parishioner of St. Mary’s Cathedral.
She is survived by five children, Lucille W. Harris-Burr of Manassas, VA, Fredrick Hough, Jr. of Orfino, ID, Larry B. Hough of Santa Rosa, CA, Mark E. Hough of Santa Rosa, CA, and Barbara L. Hough of Cheyenne; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fredrick Hough, Sr.; four brothers; and two sisters.
