Shirley Webb, 29, of Chatham, wife of the Rev. Edgar L. Webb, former pastor of the Heyworth Methodist Church, died at 7:55 p.m. Friday in Memorial Hospital, Springfield, from injuries received in an automobile accident
Mrs. Webb was born June 13, 1929 at Heyworth, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Groves. She was expecting their third child.
She was graduated from the University of Illinois in 1951 and married Edgar Webb in June, 1951. In addition to her husband, she is survived by twin children, Gail and Joanne, and Gregory Jon; and her parents of Wapella.
