THEODORE JONES
Word has been received by Mrs. A.O. Jones of the death of her son, Theodore Jones, 40, who passed away Sunday night in a hospital in Redwood City, Calif., of pneumonia.
The news came as a great shock as there had been no previous word of his illness.
Mr. Jones formerly lived in Kokomo and went from this city into the first World War, in which he served overseas for 18 months. On returning to civilian life at the close of the war, he went to California, his home since.
Besides the mother, he is survived by one son, Theodore, Jr., now on active duty with the armed forces in the Pacific war zone, and one sister, Mrs. Emerson Martin, 738 South Washington street.
The funeral and burial will be held in Redwood City.
