Pleasant W. Vise of Fountaintown, Indiana died at the age of 89, in the Hancock Memorial Hospital in Greenfield on August 26, 1999.
Born August 13, 1910 in Indianapolis, he was the son of William Kendrick and Florence E. (Huckstep) Vise.
On January 30, 1932 he married Anna L. Hickman. They were the parents of one son, Landon Harper Vise.
Mr. Vise was a retired Security Officer for Eli Lilly and Company. He was a member of Morristown Lodge 193 F&AM, Moose Lodge Lodge 17 of Indianapolis, Aircraft Owners Pilots Association, Chapter 20 of Shelbyville York Rite and Greenfield York Rite. He was a graduate of Morristown High School.
Survivors include his son, Harper Vise of Fountaintown, and one grand-child. He was proceded in death by his wife of 59 years, in 1991.
Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Hendryx Mortuary in New Palestine Chapel, with the Rev. Mike Smith officiating.
