Survivors include son and daughter-in-law; granddaughter; grandson; two great-grandsons; one brother; several nieces and nephews; and special family friend, Mike Peterson. Predeceased by his parents, his wife, Florence, infant daughter, 5 sisters and 3 brothers. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 20, 2014, in St. Catherine of Genoa Church, 340 S. Stott St., Genoa, IL, with The Very Reverend Donald M. Ahles officiating. Visitation Friday, September 19, 2014, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Olson Funeral Home Quiram Kirkland Chapel, 309 S. 5th St., Kirkland, IL, and Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Burial at Maple Cemetery, Kirkland, IL.
