On June 3, 1934, she was married to James W. Watkins and he preceded her in death Nov. 13, 1964. She married Elmer Miller Nov. 24, 1967, and he preceded her in death Sept. 19, 1997. She was a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church and attended Sturgeon Schools.
Ruby Miller is survived by three sons, James N. Watkins and wife Earlene of New London, Missouri, Gary (Joe) Watkins and wife Marlene of Brookfield, Missouri; and David M. Watkins and wife Genie of Quincy, Ill.; one daughter, Cora Neal of Sturgeon, Mo.; nine grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; two step daughters, Wanda Harper and husband Eldon of Bloomington, Ill., and Brenda Cooley and husband Phil of Sturgeon, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, William (Bill) Robinson and Abbie (JR) Robinson; and one sister, Thelma R. Taylor.
Services will be held at Fenton Funeral Chapel, Centralia, Missouri, at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014. Officiating will be the Rev. Jay Self, pastor of the First Christian Church of Moberly, Mo. Interment will be in Mt. Horeb Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon until time of service Thursday at Fenton Funeral Chapel, Centralia, Mo.
Memorials are suggested to Mt. Horeb Cemetery Association, Sturgeon, Mo.
