Son of John Thomas Shuck and Hallie Shuck. Reportedly, William E. and Eddy W. Shuck were twins born 29 March 1885 and one died at birth. A different birth date for William E. of 19 April 1885 was apparently calculated from age at death on 24 January 1890 from the weathered gravestone per transcription of Normanda Cemetery in Tipton County. Conversely, the death of Eddie W. Shuck on 25 January 1890 is recorded in "Tipton County, Indiana Death Records Index, 1882-96" which does not show William. Eddie is not shown on the Normanda gravestone transcription.
