Age 90, of Swampscott, a homemaker, died at home after a brief illness.
Mrs. Leatherby was a graduate of Lynn public schools and Laselle Junior College, Newton.
An avid gardener and golfer, Mrs. Leatherby was a member of the Tedesco Country Club, Marblehead and the Salem Country Club. She was also a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church, Swampscott.
She leaves several nieces and nephews and a cousin.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Unitarian Universalist Church, Swampscott. Burial will be in Swampscott Cemetery.
