Virginia Hartley, 97, of Fort Smith, passed from this life September 16, 2014. She was born January 10, 1917, in North Little Rock, Arkansas to Cornelius and Clara James. She retired from Sparks Hospital as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
She is survived by her son, Gene Hartley of Fort Smith; two grandsons, Todd and Mark Hartley, as well as three great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Hartley and a brother Frank James.
Graveside services will be 3:00pm Friday, September 19, 2014 at Forest Park Cemetery. Viewing will be from 10:00am to 7:00pm Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Edwards Funeral Home.
