Member Plain City Presbyterian Church and served on the Session, Deacon and Trustee Boards. Also member of Madison County Swine Board. Survived by children, Melvin, Stephen, Allan, and Pamela King; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild. Preceded in death by parents Rev. Frank and Bessie (Stephenson) Patterson, wife Frances (Motteler) Patterson, 1981 and brother Charles. Funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday, Plain City Presbyterian Church, Plain City. Interment Forest Grove Cemetery.
