Graveside services for Polly Cords Bacon, 85, of Lubbock will be at 3 p.m. Friday in Green Memorial Cemetery in Wilson with the Rev. Charles F. Johnson of Second Baptist Church in Lubbock, officiating.
Burial will be under direction of White Funeral Home.
She died Wednesday, Aug. 19, 1998, at her residence.
She was born June 19, 1913, in Rotan. She attended school in Rotan and business school in Lubbock. She married William Cords, and he died in 1980. She married Charles Bacon in 1982, in Abilene. He died in 1988. She moved to Lubbock from Abilene in 1988. She was a member of the Lutheran Church in Wilson.
She was self-employed, and she owned and managed two children's clothing stores in Albuquerque, N.M.
