Mrs. Bonnie May Howard, formerly of Texola, died Sunday night after an extended illness at Oklahoma City.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Fatheree-Albert Chapel, Erick, with Rev. John Bell, pastor, First Methodist Church, officiating.
Born September 20, 1877 at South Bend, Texas, Mrs. Howard was married in 1898 at Cornish, Indian Territory, Oklahoma to Amos S. Howard. They came from Miami, Texas to Texola in 1903. She was a member of the Methodist Church and Eastern Star.
Her husband , three daughters and a son preceded her in death.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Lewis Barnett, Mrs. Lola Gene Chaudoin, Oklahoma City and Mrs. Nona Seeds, Norman; two sons, William S. of Bartlesville and Donald of Amarillo, Texas; eight grandchildren; two sisters, mrs. Ed Marshall, Los Angeles, California and Mrs. Sam Loper, Oklahoma City; one brother, Luther Smith, Oklahoma city.
Interment was in Memorial Park, Amarillo, Texas with Fathered-Albert Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
