Their known siblings were: Martha Besse (1917-) Frost (sp. Cecil Frost), and Doris Besse (10/21/1921-10/21/1921). Flora and Doris both died from complications of Doris's childbirth. 1920 census and death certificate

Helen K. Walter, 93, of 4924 Windmill Manor ave., Bradenton, Fla. Formerly of Bradford, passed away Sunday, August 7th, 2011 in Bradenton, Fl.
Born July 9, 1918 in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Flora (Buckle) Besse.
Mrs. Walter was a 1937 graduate of Bradford High School. She married John E. Luke on March 10, 1939 in Bradford and he died March 25, 1976, then on June 28, 1980 in Corry, Pa. she married Dale Walter who died November 12, 1988. She had worked for many years at the A. & P. Grocery Store, retiring in 1980.
She was a member of St. bernard Church, and a fomer member of the Bradford Ecumenical Home Auxiliary.
Surviving are three daughters: Martha (Larry) Gustafson of Bradenton, FL, a step daughter, Toni (Dale) Maloney of Auburndale FL, a sister, Martha Frost of Bradford, eleven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, a sister in law, Rita Johnson of Jacksonville, FL, and several nieces and nephews. She was precede in death by her parents, two husbands and a brother Gurney Besse.
Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, October 15, 2011, at 10:00am in st. Bernard Church with Rev. Raymond Gramata, pastor as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.
