Roy N. McCue, 65. chairman of Kansas Board of Tax Appeals, died Monday after a long illness. A native of Kingman County, Kan., McCue had lived in Topeka since 1920. He was a graduate of Washburn University Law School, had served in the Kansas House of Representatives, 1933-35, and was Shawnee County Probate and Juvenile court judge from 1935 to 1947. McCue has served as secretary-treasurer-manager of Associated Industries of Kansas, president of Kansas Health Facilities Information Service, member of the governor's committee on employment of the handicapped and president of Jayhawk Council of Boy Scouts of America. Survivors include his widow, Grace; two daughters, Miss Doris A McCue, at home, and Mrs. Barbara Roehl, Topeka; two brothers, Ralph and Maurice, Moscow, Kan.; and a sister, Mrs. Leland Anderson, Hugoton, Kan. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at First Methodist Church. A memorial has been established in his name with American Cancer Society, Topeka. Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home has charge.
