"Mrs. Hattie M. Alden, 94, for many years a resident of North Lima, died Friday in the Salem Convalescent Center, where she was a patient for several years. Born in Hiram, Ohio, July 22, 1870, she came to North Lima in 1903, where her husband, Dr. A. H. Alden, was a practicing physician until his death in 1951. Mrs. Alden was a member of Mt. Olivet United Church of Christ. Funeral services, conducted by the Rev. Lawrence Dunnewold, were held Monday afternoon at Forest Lawn Chapel, and interment made in Forest Lawn cemetery."
