Ray L. Dodd Sr., age 58, of Bangor passed away Monday, Feb. 27, 2006 at his home. The family will meet friends Thursday noon - 2:00 PM at the Bangor Chapel, D. L. Miller Funeral Home, where funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday. Interment Fish Cemetery, Covert Township, MI. He has lived in the Bangor area for 10 years and is previously from the Hartford area. He was a member of the Lakeside Lanes Bowling Association, where he enjoyed bowling. Ray also enjoyed fishing, traveling to the mountains in Colorado, watching westerns, and loved spending time with his grandchildren, going to their football and baseball games, and orchestra and band concerts. Surviving are his wife, Carol, whom he married May 30, 1974; 4 children, Jeffery Dodd of Florida, Kathy (Alejandro) Fuentes of South Haven, Dorothy Dodd of South Haven, Ray Lee Dodd Jr. of Bangor; 11 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Jerry (Judy) Dodd of Colorado, Johnny Dodd of Covert; sister, Desi (Clinton) Osborne of Covert; many nieces and nephews.
