Domingo married Antonia Escolastica Hernandez, 13 January 1851, St. Augustine by Father Edmund S. Aubriel. They were the parents of 11 children: William Matthew, Louis Nesario, John Stephen, Mary Juliana, George Primus, Dennis Francis, Charles Edward, Dominic Sabas, Isabella Elizabeth, ALoysica, and Frederick Bernard Pacetti.

Domingo served the Confederate States of America as a Private in Co. H, of the 2nd Regiment, Florida Cavalry. He enlisted 29 July 1863 at Camp Call, Palatka. He was described as having light eyes, light hair with a dark complexion, 5 feet, 8 inches tall.
