Debbie Sue Acus "Slick", age 59, of Castle Hayne passed away September 13, 2014. at her home.
She was born March 9, 1955 in Fayetteville, NC, the daughter of Frank Alec Acus and Marie Thompson.
Debbie is survived by her sisters Sylvia Goad, Donna Edge, Brenda Inman, brother Donald Kidder, and her beloved pup “Hambone”.
Debbie was a graduate of Reid Ross High School, Western Carolina University, N.C. State, and Sand Hills Community College.
She enjoyed Reading, Basketball, Softball- A League, Fishing, and simply being with friends. She worked for Fluor/Daniel, as a Civil Engineer in the Nuclear Power Industry.
A Memorial Service will be held at Wilmington Funeral Chapel at 2:00PM on Sunday, September 21, 2014. Reverend Greg McCaw officiating.
The Celebration of Her Life will be held afterwards at the home of Lynette A Miller.
