Services for Mrs. B.J. Quillin were held in the First Baptist Church. She lived in Bristol, Tennessee until 1884 when she came to Texas settling in Leonard. She married Beverly Johnson Quillin in 1884. They lived at Leonard until moving to Seymour in 1910. She converted in early girlhood and joined the Missionary Baptist Church. She was a faithful and untiring worker. Her husband preceded her in death. Survivors include her children; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one brother - J.M. Spowles.
