Samuel T. Torbert, 68, of Plain City, died Apr. 13 at Doctors Hospital, following a long illness. He was a member of the Plain City Presbyterian Church. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Virginia Noteman, Columbus, Mrs. Martha Carl, East Liberty and Mrs. Wanda Rummell, Plain City; five grandchildren; one brother, and four sisters. Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at the Ferguson Funeral Home, Rev. Charles Stenner officiating. Interment was in Forest Grove.
