68-Yr-Old Resident Victim Of Heart Attack Here
Harry C. Mossburg, 68-year-old resident of Walnut street, who suffered a heart attack at his home Tuesday night, was pronounced dead on arrival at the Frederick Memorial Hospital at 11:15 p.m.
He was a son of the late Benjamin Alexander and Fannie Catherine Mossburg, natives of Virginia.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Emma S. Fitez Mossburg; two sons, Bernard C. Mossburg and City Police Officer, Paul W. Mossburg, both of this city; three daughters, Mrs. Pauline L. Eaves of this city; Mrs. Mary Elizabeth West of Middletown, and Miss Peggy M. Mossburg at home; five brothers, Grover C. Mossburg, of near this city; Charles Nevin Mossburg of this county; Preston Mossburg of Dickerson; Russell Mossburg of this city and Paul Wilson Mossburg of Bartholows; four sisters, Mrs. Nellie Randolph of Baltimore; Mrs. Carrie Castle, this city; Mrs. Mable Fout of this city and Mrs. Mae Porteus of this city; six grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was a member of the Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran church; of the Sons and Daughters of Liberty of Walkersville; and of the Farmers Cooperative.
The body is at the funeral home, 106 East Church street, where friends may call.
Funeral services will held at the funeral home Friday at 2 p.m. Interment in Mt. Olivet cemetery. M. R. Etchison and Son, funeral directors.
