Bill had live in Oklahoma and Nebraska before moving to Hutchinson where he went to high school. He served in the U.S.Army during WWII and moved to Dodge City in 1956. He was a salesman at Chevrolet Garage in Dodge City,KS and also organized and played with several bands that performed in the Dodge City area.
He was preceded in death by a sister and a grandson.
He was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church of Dodge City,KS, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Loyal Order of Moose #1187 of Dodge City,Ks.
Survivors include his wife of the home, two sons, Richard of Dallas,Tx and William Jr. of Liberal,Ks; three daughters, Cyrilla Petracek of Olathe,KS, Patty Trotter of Dodge City,KS and Roxie Beck of Dodge City,KS; two brothers, Richard of Richland, Washington and Don of Kent, Washington; one sister, Betty Grove of Arvada,Colo; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
