GREENWOOD- George F Burdick of the town of Greenwood died last night at St. James Hospital in Hornell where he had been a patient for the last few days. He was 68 years old.
Born in the town of Troupsburg, he lived in the town of Greenwood the past 35 years. He was employed at the Canisteo plant of Stern and Stern Textile until his retirement two years ago.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs Ina McCormick Burdick; five daughters, Ruth and Ellen Burdick both at home, Mary Burdick of Canisteo, Frances Burdick of Hornell and Mrs. Gertrude Faulkner of Alexandria VA; one son , Fred Burdick, at home, and one grandchild.
