~MRS. A. LUTHI DIES THURSDAY AT AGE OF 87

Mrs. Rose Mary LUTHI, wife of Adolph LUTHI, died at her home 937 Allison Avenue at 1:05 a.m. Thursday attributed to complications of age death followed a brief
illness.

She was 87 years of age being born August 09, 1865 at Bern, Switzerland, married to Mr. LUTHI February 12, 1902 in Peace Valley [Howell County] Missouri they moved to Canon City in 1922 from Gage, Oklahoma.

In addition to her husband, survivors are seven children: Fred of Westcliffe, Charles, Ted and Jim of Gage, Oklahoma. John of Perryton, Texas, Irvin of Arlington, Virginia and Mrs. Birtie ROGERS of Kansas City, Kansas, two sisters Mrs. Sophia DRYER of Fort Scott, Kansas and Mrs. Lena BENNETT of West Plains, Missouri. Nineteen grandchildren and also survive eleven great-grandchildren.

Mrs. LUTHI was a member of the First Baptist Church of Canon City. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday from the Holt Chapel. The Rev. E. E. Acheson. pastor of the First Baptist, will officiate.

Following Services, her remains will be forwarded to Gage, Oklahoma for services and Internment in the Family plot.
