Hazel Atkins Roudabush, 95, of Destin, Florida, formerly of Wilmington, died Monday, September 8, 2014, in Florida. She was born Hazel Faye Hunt on April 12, 1919 in Columbus County, NC, daughter of the late Ray Hunt and Leah Harrelson Hunt. Her husband, Robert E. Roudabush, preceded her in death. Hazel was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church and a lifetime member of VFW Post 2573 Auxillary, Manly-Reece Post. She is survived by her two sons, Morris "Boots" Atkins, Sr. and Patrick Atkins; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7pm to 8pm Monday, September 15, 2014 at Andrews Market Street Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 11am Tuesday, September 16, 2014, at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Interment will follow at Oakdale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Emerald Coast Hospice, 340 Beal Pkwy, Suite C, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548.
