Jerry L. Adair, 66, of Buckner, MO passed away June 18, 2005 at Independence Regional Health Center. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2005 at Carson-Speaks Chapel. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel. Burial will take place in Mt. Washington Cemetery.

Jerry was born November 23, 1938 in Kansas City, MO to Norman Lee and Margaret (Donoho) Adair. Mr. Adair retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. He and his wife spent the first 7 years of retirement in Arizona before returning to MO 6 years ago.

Jerry was happiest when he was with his family. He enjoyed playing poker in his spare time. Mr. Adair is survived by his wife of 49 years, Carol (Thompson) Adair of the home, sons David Adair and wife Janie of Tampa, FL, Barry Adair and wife Teresa of Adrian, MO, Richard Adair of Buckner, MO and Michael Adair and wife Mary of Cincinnati, OH; 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Norman.
