DEATH OF JOSEPH W. COOPER. - A telegram from Rockbridge Alum Springs
Va., on Monday last announces the death there, on that day, of Mr. Joseph W. Cooper of this city. His remains are en route for home, and his funeral will take place the latter part of this week. His wife and one child accompanied him to Virginia. Mr. Cooper had been in failing health for some time, and the announcement of his death, though a great grief to a large circle, was not altogether unexpected.
The Weekly Clarion, Jackson, MS, July 30, 1874.
