Obituary: Mrs. Luella L. Silvis, 80, of Clarion St., East Brady, died yesterday at her home. Born in Kaylor March 22, 1887, she was a daughter of David and Lavina Foringer Kamerer. She was the widow of James I. Silvis, who died in Jan. 1960. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of East Brady. Surviving are five sons, James W. of Holly Hill, Fla., William D. of East Brady, Harry H. of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Melvin L. of Rimersburg RD#1, and Richard L. of East Brady; four daughters, Mrs. Clifford (Grace) Whitmer of Emlenton, Mrs. Barnard (Lillian) Rhinehuls of Emporium, and Mrs. William (Edna) Reese of East Brady and Mrs. Mildred Kemery of Karns City RD#2; a brother, Howard Kamerer of Chicora RD., and two sisters, Mrs. Ida McClure and Mrs. Howard (Laura) Snow, both of East Brady RD; 31 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren. Two sons preceded her in death.
SILVIS - Friends of Mrs. Luella L. Silvis, who died Thursday, Aug. 10, 1967, will be received at the William D. Silvis residence, East Brady. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday from the First Baptist Church with the Rev. William E. Carraway, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Brady's Bend Cemetery.
