ARNETT, Curtis Ernest Samuel was born August 25, 1898 in Houston, Houston County, Minnesota the son of Charles Arnett and Augusta Louisa Burow. He married Dorothy Elizabeth Law Young August 1, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois and they were the parents of three children, Margaret (Stanley), Lynn (Weston) and Matthew D. He was first employed on the family farm in Minnesota and then as a truck driver for a corn syrup sales company in Naperville in the 1930’s. He was later employed by the Kroehler Furniture Manufacturing Company as a dispatcher until his retirement in 1965. He was raised a Master Mason October 20, 1942. He died December 23, 1983 in Sunnyvale, Santa Clara County, California. Burial location unknown.

The church register records his birth occurring in Mound Prairie Township, Houston County, Minnesota. He was baptized by Pastor Karl Meckel on 18 December 1898 in Mound Prairie Twp. His sponsors were Mathilde Arnet and Ernst Jeske.
