Mrs. Abston was born Jan. 31, 1922 in Overton County, the daughter of Lark and Susie (Hargis) Threet.
She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Abston; son, Johnny Abston; brothers, Jonathan Threet, Bailey Threet and Isaac Threet; and sisters, Haley Threet, Mindy Beaty and Elan Winningham.
Pallbearers were Dave Fewless, J.C. Crane, DeWayne Schubert, Scott Conners, Ricky Abston and Joey Feeman.
