WILLIAM KRAUSE EXPIRES SUDDENLY

Coroner Decides Death Was Due to Heart Failure and Inquest Unnecessary.

William Krause, 75 years of age, resided with his daughter, Mrs. Charles Willard, 309 North Jefferson Avenue, died very suddenly yesterday afternoon about 4 o'clock in the store of the Youngs Grocery Co., corner of Ninth and Adams Street. He was apparently in his usual good health and went to the store on business when he was suddenly attached and expired in a few moments. Dr. W G Kelly, coroner, was summed and decided that death was due to heart failure. No inquest was deemed necessary.

Mr. Krause was born in West Prisen, Germany and came to America in 1872 soon afterwards taking up a residence in this city. About 38 years ago he moved on a farm near Auburn and remained there until last fall when he came here to live with his daughter. Mrs. Krause died about two years ago. Three daughters and three sons survive him. They are: Mrs. Augusta Simpson, Mrs. George Elliott, and Mrs. John Konders, of Auburn; Mrs. John M. Patterson of Corning, California; Mrs. Charles Willard, of this city, and Herman, Edward and William Krause, of Auburn.

The funeral will take place Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Willard.
