Stanley P. Graboski, 60, Sunbury, passed away Monday, Sept. 8, 2014, at 7:27 p.m. at his residence.
Born in Shamokin on Nov. 29, 1953, he was the son of the late Stanley and Irene (Wisneski) Graboski.
A graduate of Shamokin Area High School, he attended Temple University in Philadelphia, and was employed at the PPL Montour Power Plant as a foreman.
Stanley was married to the former Karen Thomas on July 26, 1974, in the Paxinos Bible Church.
He was a member of the Grace Chapel Church in Overlook.
He is survived by his wife, Karen, and three children: Kari Costa and her husband, Paul, of Danville; Janene Shipe and her husband, Donald, of Paxinos; and Kristen Hine and her husband, Shawn, of Trevorton; two sisters: Rose Palovich and Elaine Wysock; and one brother, Frank Graboski; 10 grandchildren: Autumn, Jeannett, Brent and Ryan Costa; Jadyn, Jace, Dalila and Delaney Shipe; and Tessa and Camden Hine; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A viewing will be held at the Leonard J. Lucas Funeral Home Ltd., 120 S. Market St., Shamokin, on Thursday evening from 7 to 9. A viewing will also be held Friday, Sept. 12, at the Grace Chapel, Overlook, from 10 until the time of the service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Alan Langelli officiating. Burial will follow in Northumberland Memorial Park Cemetery, Stonington.
