Robert Lewis Ardrey, 66, died on October 29, 2013 in his home surrounded by his family. His service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 31st at Eden Chapel on 92nd and Fairgrounds Road. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

On November 23, 1946, Robert was born to Joseph C. and Floye Elaine (Flood) Ardrey in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

He graduated from Perkins High School and soon after enlisted in Army. He received a Bronze Star for his service, and was honorably discharged with a rank of Sergeant. He made his living as a mechanic and was a member of the Perkins VFW. He is deeply loved and missed.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Amber Ardrey; brother, Bill Ardrey; and sister, Marjorie Bailey.
