Ted Alan Beers, 64, native of Fort Collins, passed away September 5th, 2014 at Poudre Valley Hospital surrounded by his family.
Ted was born September 13, 1949 in Fort Collins to parents George and June Beers. He was a graduate of Poudre High School in 1967 and Colorado State University in 1974, where he was a member of the Zeta Beta Tau fraternity. Ted married Nancy Ginn in 1971 and their only son, Matthew, was born in 1982.
Ted worked as a Project Manager for Sinnett Builders for over 30 years. He enjoyed philately, trains, military history, fishing, and spending time in the mountains with his friends; especially at his cabin in the Poudre Canyon.
Ted is survived by his wife, Nancy Beers; son, Matthew (Ashlea) Beers; grandchildren Anna and Nicholas, whom he loved more than anything; mother, June Beers; sister, Sandra (Glenn) Stewart; and brother David (Cathy) Beers; two nieces and four nephews. He is preceded in death by his father George.
A memorial service will be held at Allnutt Funeral Service in Fort Collins at 11am on Friday, September 12th, 2014
