Harvey A. Alf, 72, of Rte. 2, Box 608, Belfair died unexpectedly Thursday afternoon while working in the woods near his home.
He was born in Howell County, Mo., moving to Auburn in 1914. At first he operated a taxi business, then a trucking and fuel company. In later years he went into carpentry and home construction in the Auburn area.
From Auburn he moved to Colville in 1947, then lived in Tonasket from 1956 to 1961, when he went to Belfair. He was a member of the Full Gospel Church.
