Ruth Perry, age 81, of the Jellico Creek Community in Williamsburg, KY, passed away Friday September 5, 2014 at Baptist Health Lexington in Lexington, KY. She was born April 28, 1933 in Whitley County, KY to the late Charlie Dople and the late Martha Reynolds Dople.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a son Robert Ray Perry, a grandson Jason Lee Perry, and 4 brothers, Carl, Millard, Earl, and Amon Dople.
She is survived by a son, Austin Perry and wife Mary of Williamsburg, KY, grandson Luke Perry of Williamsburg, KY, Great Granddaughter Jaden Johnson of Williamsburg, KY, a sister Christine Webb Moore of Pine Knot, KY, several Nieces, Nephews , and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral service will be 2:00PM Tuesday September 9, 2014 at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel in Williamsburg, KY, with Rev. Doyle Lester officiating. Following the service she will be laid to rest in the New Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6:00PM Monday at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel.
Pallbearers will be Tim Ball, Tim Moses, Billy Joe McVey, Jackie McVey, Shelby Hampton, and James Lee Meadors
