Arthur Joseph, 83 Retired Engineer
Arthur J Joseph, 83, of 1944 Kingsley av., a life resident of Akron, died Thursday in General Medical Center after a three week illness. Mr. Joseph was an engineer for General Tire. He retired in 1958 after 27 years service. He was a World War I veteran and a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church. He leaves his wife, Mildred; a son, David Loeber, Louisville, KY.; a daughter, Mrs John Volmer, Springfield, O.; brothers, Raymond, Akron, Thomas, New Mexico, and Leo and Hugh, both of California; sisters Mary Joseph, Sarah Joseph and Mrs. Grace McCormish, all of Akron, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Sebastian Church. Burial will be in Mt. Peace cemetery. Friends may call at the Adams funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
