Allene Jeanette St. Peter

Allene Jeanette St. Peter, a resident of Flat Rock, Michigan, passed away at her home, Tuesday, September 2, 2014. She was born June 4, 1925 in Detroit, daughter of the late Carl & Jeanette (Brandt) Relitz.

She is survived by eight children: Robert; Dennis (Michele); Mark; Mary; Claudia (Karel Descamps); Jerome (Kari Balbirer); John (Anabella); and Annmarie (Robert Zabor); brother Verne Relitz and sister Joyce Warren; eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews.

Allene was preceded in death by her husband Robert J. St. Peter, son James and siblings James, Jeanne and Delphine Finkbeiner.

She worked at Fisher Body Plant during and after World War II, where she met her husband of 51 years, with whom she took on her greatest endeavor in starting a family.

A member of Southpoint Church in Trenton, she loved the Tigers and found her home away from home at the Big Boy restaurant on Telegraph and Vreeland Rds.

Burial was on Thursday at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Riverview. Memorial page www.allore.com.
