VALLEY - Mr. Robert A. "Jew Baby" Earles of Valley died Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011 at Columbus Specialty Hospital.

A graveside service was held Sunday, Dec. 4 at 2 p.m. at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Tim Campbell officiating.

Mr. Earles is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Mildred Harry Earles; two sons, Alan (Susan) Earles and Robert (Wanda) Earles; five grandchildren, Heidi (Damien) Lowery, Lindsay Earles, Ali Earles, Steffi Earles and Kelly (Jody) Dean; and two great-grandchildren, Rylan Lowery and Ryder Lowery.

Mr. Earles was preceded in death by his parents, Henry A. Earles and Tullie Smith Earles; one brother, Arnold Earles Jr.; and two sisters:Renda Carter and Earline Sherman.

He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and was a lifelong member of Shawmut Church of the Nazarene. Mr. Earles will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

The family received friends Sunday, Dec. 4 from 1 until 2 p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home.
