Irene's parents were Joseph Francis Fletcher and Rose Mary Sauve. In an email sent to me from Irene's daughter, Susan, she wrote, "My mother, Mary I. Long, DOB July 5, 1911, lived at 51 Eckhert St, Buffalo, NY 14207 before my parents moved to Kenmore. Would Ancestry.com have a listing of her living at that address, along with other addresses? My mother, was born in Canada, died on January 13, 1991 & her maiden name was Fletcher. Her family called her Irene (my middle name). Her Mother, Rosemary Sauve Fletcher, not sure where she was born, England or France perhaps, died when my Mother was 5 of pneumonia & her Father, born in England, died of mustard gas poisoning from World War I when she was quite young. She was raised by her grandmother although I am not sure if it was her maternal or paternal grandmother. She married William Ogg but he died in a boating accident when she was quite young." Susan Long Owens, January 2010.

Susan died on Tuesday September 2, 2014. Since the last census records released were the 1940s, regrettably, I won't be able to look further into her request until the 1950 census is released...in 2022. Where she is now, it no longer matters. She is with her parents, eternally. Rest in Peace.
