Mabel S. Bieber, 98, formerly of Fleetwood and Tower Court, Topton, died January 16, 2009 in the Henry Health Care Center of The Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the widow of Harry K. Bieber, who died December 12, 1970. Born August 14, 1910 in Ruscombmanor Township, she was a daughter of the late Warren K. and Lizzie (Sterner) Boyer. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church on the campus of The Lutheran Home at Topton. She worked for the former Charles Wanner Stocking Factory, Fleetwood, during the 1930s and the former Ritters Shirt Factory, Fleetwood, during the 1940s. Survivors: Nephews that she cared for, Lynn C. Nonnemacher of Kunkletown, Timothy C. Nonnemacher of Allentown, Randy C. Nonnemacher of Fleetwood; sisters, Esta S. (Boyer), widow of Earl Readinger, a resident of The Lutheran Home at Topton, Cora S. (Boyer), wife of Leon Haas, of Fleetwood, Minerva S. (Boyer) Gauker of Fleetwood, Grace S. (Boyer), widow of Harold Keiser, of Fleetwood. She was predeceased by sisters, Ellen S. (Boyer) Smith, Verna S. (Boyer) Bieber, Beulah (Boyer) Delp, Eva (Boyer) Hassler, Elda (Boyer) Border, and brothers, Earl S. Boyer, Warren Boyer, Harry Boyer, Luther Boyer and Ruben Boyer. Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 21, 2009 in the Ludwick Funeral Homes Inc., 25 E. Weis Street, Topton, with the Reverend Carl Schmoyer officiating. Interment in Hope Cemetery, Dryville. Friends may call 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday. Contributions: Flowers may be sent or contributions may be made to the memorial fund of Grace Lutheran Church, 1 S. Home Avenue, Topton, 19562.
