Archibald D. Moore
Trenton Falls – Archibald D. Moore, 83, died Sunday in St. Luke’s memorial hospital center, New Harford, after a brief illness.
He was born Jan. 19, 1891, in Trenton falls, son of Gardner and Marjorie Pentland Moore.
In 1921 he married the former Doris Squires in Coldbrook.
Before his retirement in 1956, Mr. Moore was a line supervisor of the Niagara-Mohawk Power Corp.
He was a member of the 25 – year Club of Niagara Mohawk and the Rondaxe Lake Club. Mr. Moore was a Protestant.
Besides his wife, he leaves two daughters, Mrs. Milton (Audrey) Roberts, Prospect, and Mrs. William (Jean0 Heim, Trenton Falls, a brother, Pentland Moore, Trenton Falls, and several grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Ackley funeral home, Remsen. Burial will be in evergreen cemetery, Barneveld. Calling hours at the funeral home are Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
