Alan T. Sapp
Alan Thomas Sapp, 19, Brinkhaven, died Wednesday of a self-inflicted gun shot wound, according to sheriff deputies.
Deputies said the body was found in his car at Ohio 205 and Ohio 3 at 10:30 p.m. by a passing motorist. Sapp was apparently traveling to his job in Perrysville, deputies said, adding he stopped at the intersection and shot himself in the chest with a .30-30 rifle. A note was found.
Mr. Sapp was empolyed by the Perrysville Pottery and was a member of St. Luke Church in Danville.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Sapp, Brinkhaven, a brother, Larry, Danville, seven sisters, Mrs. Jeff Conkle, Millwood, Lori of Galion and Joyce, Suzanne, Rebecca, Lynn and Joan, all of the home. paternal grandmother, Mrs. Joseph Sapp, Danville and maternal grandmother, Mrs. Thomas O'Donnell Sr., Mansfield.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Dusthimer Funeral Home in Danville where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Luke Church with the Rev. Carl Clagett officiating. Burial will be in St. Luke Cemetery.
