OBITUARY - MRS. FREEMAN
Amie (sic) Caroline Freeman was born at London Mills, Fulton County, Ill., on November 2, 1879. At the age of seventeen she came to Worth county (sic), Mo. Here she was united in marriage to E.J. Freeman. To this union thirteen children were born, all of whom are living. Mrs. Esther Davis, Sterline, Colo.; Mrs. Erma Johnston, Hopkins, Mo.; Lawrence Freeman, Percival, Iowa; Mrs. Mabel Killingsworth, Denver, Mo.; Mrs. Dorothy Stickle, Pasadena, Calif.; John Freeman, Percival, Iowa; Mrs. Bessie Garrard, Sheridan, Mo.; Lyman Freeman, King City, Mo.; Mrs. Melba Ferguson, Fairport, Mo.; Mrs. Edith Matthis, King City; Homer Freeman, King city; Mary Jane and Alfred of the home.
In 1927, the family came to Gentry county (sic) and their home was in the community east of Ford City.
After an illness of three months, she passed away at the family home last Sunday, September 19, 1937, at the age of 57 years, 10 months and 17 days.
She was very fond of her home and was never happier than doing something for her family. She was also a good neighbor and will be missed from the home and community.
In addition to the husband and children mentioned above, she is also survived by three brothers: Willis and Homer Gee, Randolph, Iowa, and Bradford Gee, Knoxville, Iowa, and a sister, Mrs. George Bennett, of Keytesville, Mo; sixteen grandchildren and many other relatives.
Funeral services were held at the King City Christian church (sic) on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by W.C. Whitehouse and burial was in King City cemetery (sic).
