Graveside services for Mr. E. Cleveland "Jim" Jimerson, 70, of Union Community, will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, January 23, 1997 (today), in Union Cemetery with Rev. Tim Everding officiating.
Arrangements were made under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Arcadia.
Mr. Jimerson died Monday, January 20, 1997. He was a retired bridge foreman with the La. Dept. of Highways.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Shirley Jimerson of Union Community; one stepson, Keith Wright of Richmond, TX; two daughters, Doris Murphy of Jamestown and Evelyn Castle of Choudrant; two step-daughters, Deborah Arrington of Rosenberg, TX, and LaDonna Beauregard of Virginia Beach, VA; two sisters, Christine Smith of Simsboro and Effie Sowers of Sunnyside, WA; three brothers, W.D. Jimerson of Jonesboro, Terrell Jimerson of Heflin and Floyd H. Jimerson of Simsboro; eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jackie Sutton, Donnie Smart, Bill Hogan, Billy Smelley, Mike Lewis, T.J. Gibson, Darphus Lowe, and Curtis Bowman.
