Our sweet mother, grandmother and friend, Grace Francis Rich, passed away peacefully the morning of March 18, 2001, at her home in Bountiful, Utah.

Grace was born in Morgan, Utah on March 14, 1917. The fifth of nine children born to William W. Francis and Cecelia Knight Francis. Grace grew up in Morgan, attending local schools, later attending Weber State College and BYU. Grace married Lewis R. Rich on March 15, 1940 in the Logan LDS Temple. Shortly after their marriage Lew was called to served in the U.S. Airforce. Grace followed him as they both served in the war effort being stationed in Trenton, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Winter Haven, Florida. Upon discharge they moved to Provo, Utah and later to Bountiful, where Grave lived for the next 55 years. They were the parents of two children, Lewis Raymond

and Connie Lyn. Grace was a member of the Bountiful 14th Ward, where she served in various capacities, her favorite being the Primary. She had a great love for children and they for her. This love was never more evident than in the care and concern she showed to her children and each of her eight grandchildren. Grace was an active member of the Bountiful Lady Lions, the Ladies Assoc. of Oakridge Country Club and the U of U Mother's Club. She was preceded in death by her husband Lewis in 1987.

She is survived by her two children: Ray (Karen), Reno, Nevada; Lyn (Dean) Robinson, North Salt Lake; eight grandchildren, Ryan Rich, Nicole Robinson Garff, Lori Robinson Malmrose, Brett, Sean, Kristin, Abby and Kelly Robinson and one great-grandchild, Jonas Garff. She is also survived by one brother, Clarence (Elna) Francis, sisters: Leah Richins, Vera (Donald) Brough, Thelma (Jay) Bond, Barbara (Lloyd) Gustaveson, Beverly (Gordon) Bond. Her parents and brothers, Carl and Rulon preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 21, 2001 at the Bountiful 14th Ward Chapel, 1500 South 600 East. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 6:00- 7:30 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 N. Main, and again Wed. morning at the church one hour prior to services. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery
